      Hi Beaver1997,

      It was good to talk to you on the live chat earlier.

      My job title is Research Fellow. That means that I do not currently have to do any teaching (though I do do some because I enjoy it). But my job is to do experiments and find things out. This is a great job to have, because, rather than being motivated by money (how much profit can I make) I am allowed to be motivated by understanding how things work. If I were in industry, things would be a bit different (though of course it is not all black and white) there the emphasis has to be on what is profitable, rather than what is interesting.
