      Hola espagnol!
when your voice cracks, it basically means that the note/pitch that you aimed for didn’t come out quite the way you intended. this is most common in boys during puberty, when their voice box changes shape and size. It can also happen when people sing.
It doesn’t hurt – but does cause a LOT of embarrassment!

I can only go on personal experience – it didn’t hurt it was just slightly annoying and yes you can tell the difference – although the sound of your own voice you hear is different to what others hear – this is a good article on this

I don’t know because I’m not a man and so my voice is still all girly, espagnol!

It doesn’t hurt but the worst thing is that it can be a bit embarrassing. You’re not quite sure how high or how low your voice will come out when it’s breaking so you might be talking to this girl you really like and then all of a sudden you might sound like Barry White. She might like this though but you just won’t really know when Barry will make an appearance, so to speak.

      It’ll pass though 🙂

      Hi Espagnol,

If you mean when your voice breaks, then no, it doesn’t hurt. But if you mean when you have a really sore throat and your voice is all cracking, that can hurt a bit but nothing that lemon and honey won’t sort!
