No evidence for other life yet – but I do hope so!

      Hiya georgia and abigail! 🙂

Yeah, I think there must be. The observable universe has a diameter of 93 million light years. How can we be the only ones floating on a big rock?!

I don’t think they’ll be like us. In their world they might be very primitive or totally advanced but it’d be brill to meet them.

There are bacteria which can survive extremes – like hundreds of atmospheres or hundreds of degrees so life’s really possible anywhere.

Do you think we’ll meet another life form in our lifetime?

Yes – the number of stars that have planets like the earth at the right distance from the star is huge – billions of billions – so the likelihood of life elsewhere is high

      Hi Georgia and Abigail,

I really don’t know. I am skeptical at best. Some people say that the probability of finding life on 1 of the many billion billion planets out there is very high. I am not so sure.

Maybe one day we will find out!
