      Hi fabulousno1!

Great question!! Yeah. I know all about bacteria so I’ll always wash my hands when I’m about to eat or make a meal. Also, when I’ve been out of the house, the first thing I’d do is wash my hands when I come in.

I’m not a real clean freak though. Bacteria is good for us so going out and getting dirty is a must! But washing your hands from time to time can stop you getting some pretty nasty bacteria inside of you and causing stomach bugs 🙂

I work with both bacteria and fungi and may be more aware of hygiene issues – however, I think that the media (TV and papers) has made everyone paranoid about hygiene. Your body actually needs to be exposed to some bugs to have a good working immune system.
