I think that this was a myth put about by the British in the second world war to hide the fact that we had radar!
However, it turns out carrots really do give your eyes a boost because they contain beta-carotene, which the body is able to convert into vitamin A, an essential vitamin for healthy vision.
He he. Totally not! 🙂 It is a little lie the government made up to trick the enemy! We were using radar and to disguise the fact that we could now ‘see’ so well, they made up that the soldiers were eating carrots!
