      Hi there moseleal01 and Andrew!

I had a wicked chemistry teacher at my school who was amazing. He inspired me to study chemistry. Also, when I was 7, I got a Chemistry set for Xmas. There’s a pic on my profile page of me aged 7 with it!! I loved experimenting and making new things.

I think it was a mixture of both as I don’t come from a sciency family at all 🙂

I kind of fell into being a scientist – I always like science, but I actually wanted to be a vet. I didn’t get the grades for vet school, so went to Uni to do science (genetics) – then i found that I actually liked research .. and the rest, as they say, is history.

I really love finding out how things work, so I wanted to do that for my job. Also, you can’t do science in your spare time, but you an do music. So I do science for my job, and music in my spare time.
